Special Interests & Why I Love What I Do

For me, medicine is very interesting. I am fascinated with how everything connects and how intervention changes pathways and sometimes small interventions can make huge changes. And of course being around animals all day provides me with a significant amount of joy; it is the best of both worlds!

The best thing about working at FVARC besides puppy kisses and kitty head butts, is that we truly work as a team - everyone is willing to help and support each other.

Personal

I grew up in DePere so I am happy to practice close to home. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters with 10 nieces and nephews.  I love family gatherings. I also have 2 dogs (Gus, Shelby), 2 cats (Aurelia, Daphne), a horse (Penny), 2 goats (Fiona, Buttermilk), 2 bunnies (Malibu, Opal) and 3 chickens (Spice, Easter and Avalanche).  Oh yes, and 1 husband (Ben). Everyone lives happily on our farmette.

I love to be outdoors.  I recently started gardening, canning and giant pumpkin growing.  I also enjoy spending time on the water boating, fishing and kayaking.
