Special Interests & Why I Love What I Do

I have a special interest in immune mediated disease, toxicology, and ultrasonography.

I love the diversity and the challenge that veterinary emergency medicine has to offer. You never have the same day twice! I am constantly gaining new knowledge and evolving as a veterinarian. I also love helping ease people through what could be a very stressful time by providing information and working on the best treatment plan for their pet. I love the dynamic of the hospital. All the veterinarians and specialist at FVARC work and consult together to bring the best care to each patient.

My hobbies include cooking, playing cello, swimming and doing anything on the water.  I also love going to Broadway shows. My husband is a professor of Physiology at the University of Stevens Point and we live in Waupaca and enjoy spending time outdoors.
