Special Interests & Why I Love What I Do

I became a veterinarian because of my love of animals and my desire to help them. I became an internist due to interest non-invasive procedures and a passion to help patients with complex medical conditions. I enjoy all endoscopy (rhinoscopy, gastroenterology, urology, and bronchoscopy) and ultrasonography. My other professional interests include endocrinology, autoimmune disease, gastroenterology, and infectious disease.

I have spoken on immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, Addison's disease, diagnostic value of laser lithotripsy, CAT scan imaging, mast cell tumor, steroid responsive meningitis, and granulomatous colitis.

What I enjoy the most about working at FVARC, is the team approach to patient care as well as the compassion of doctors and support staff.

Personal

Originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, I came to FVARC in 2006, due to the appeal of the Fox Valley and a desire to stay close to family. I have a wonderful husband, Jason, and two sons who I cherish. I have a Labrador Retriever named Cutter who enjoys hunting with my husband. I love spending time with my family, reading, yoga, and knitting. I am an active member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard.
